G's B......

I attempted to capture some photos of my cousin G's son B.  He's not a shy boy, but when it comes to cameras he's, well...let's just say...resistant.  I had a devil of a time getting him to look at me. This was new for me as Miss J is used to me sticking the camera in her face.....she knows the drill....stop...look at me...pose....smile.  I did however, have some success.  This little boy is such a hoot!  What a personality....he's gonna break some hearts one day.  If you want to see another example, check out his most recent video!!!

Vacation...........

I am officially back to work.....(collective groan).....Gym Dad is on vacation "at home" where I have him sufficiently busy for the rest of this week!  For a summer that has been unseasonably cool, we lucked out and had very nice weather.  We golfed three courses that I have not golfed since high school, had pitchers of margaritas at Compeneros in Dorset, and, well, just relaxed.  For the first time in years we had a vacation that didn't involve any gymnastics schedules, travel plans, or company.  It was wonderful!!  I felt so relaxed that I forgot to take many pictures....shame on me!  However, I did score some illusive photos of camera shy Mr. B, my cousin G's handsome little man.  As soon as I finish editing them, I will post them as I've promised G.

I find it rather ridiculous that the lake water was still take-your-breath-away cold in July!  Miss J didn't mind however.......
